2002_06_10_solar_eclipse_hike

Andy (friend from work), Nathan and John (roommates) and I got out of work early at 1600 to head up to Mission Peak to view the partial solar eclipse that happened. We made it up to the top of the peak about 20 minutes after the eclipse peaked and were able to view a good deal of it, and the hike was quite enjoyable. Afterwards we went to an In-and-Out Burger and blew our monthly fat intakes on one burger each, but it was a good afternoon. The sunset was beautiful, although I neglected to take any pictures of it.
