I managed to catch a gust wrong low to the ground at Ed Levin county park today and cracked the fuselage. Unfortunately, I wasn't paying attention enough to notice the crack under the wing and a launch separated things almost completely. The wings were almost completely unharmed, and the tail damage is minor. It'll weigh a bit more this time around, but I think it's repairable.

It was interesting (but not surprising) to note that the failure occurred right at the point I drilled a small hole for the receiver antenna to exit. Next time I'll put the hole in a part of the fuse that doesn't bear as much load.
